·Take your virtual social media connections into the real world with in-person meet-ups.

·Find a mantra that reminds you to keep trying and not give up (like "Insecurity kills more dreams than failure ever will").

·Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up with those people you want to get to know more because any type of relationship takes work.

·Not all friendships are created equal and not all of them work out and that is okay.
