State Lawmakers return to Tallahassee this week. Legislators are heading to the state capitol for the first round of committee meetings leading up to the 2022 session, set to start in January. The House and Senate will hold 6 weeks of pre-session committee meetings each month from now until December 3rd. The legislative session is set to start January 11th. Voters approved a constitutional amendment back in 2018 mandating sessions in even-numbered years to start in January-most sessions in the past have started in March.
