Carly Pearce And Lee Brice Release New 'I Hope You're Happy Now' Video

Carly Pearce and Lee Brice released the new video for their single "I Hope You're Happy Now." The clip, directed by Sam Siske, features Pearce and Brice performing the heartfelt duet, while also portraying the song's meaning by showing two people trying to move on from a relationship.

"The first time I watched this music video I cried," Pearce said. "It is as real and honest as the 'Every Little Thing' video was for me."

She continues, "This song is so personal and I wanted the visual to truly reflect that part of my story. I feel like this song is the closing piece to this chapter in my life, so the ending is bittersweet, but it leaves things on a positive note. If I were to run into this person today, my hope is that things would play out exactly how the video ends."

"So excited to be a part of this with Carly," Brice adds. "Singing with her is natural. This one was so fun to shoot!"

"I Hope You're Happy Now," written by Pearce alongside Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Randy Montana, will be featured on Pearce's upcoming sophomore album. The new record will reflect on the personal growth Pearce has gone through over the past few years.

"So much has happened to me in the last few years," Pearce shared on Instagram. "Y'all have changed my life and given my music a home in this world. I grew up, let go of things that needed to go, fell in love, fell on my face, went through some hell and found "Carly" fully for the first time EVER."

The self-titled album is also extra special to Pearce as she is dedicating it to her late producer, Busbee, who recently passed away from cancer.
