WINTER HAVEN -- Legoland Florida theme park in Central Florida sets the date for the opening of its newest hotel, making the announcement on Talk Like a Pirate Day (Sept. 19).
The park plans to open its Pirate Island Hotel April 17 of next year.
It's the third hotel at the Legoland resort. Each room will include a separate sleeping area for children and adults. The kid-friendly area offers play areas and a TV that shows LEGO movies. This follows the recent announcement of Lego Movie World, a section of the park based on those movies.
