South Florida Pays Tribute To The 9/11 Victims

Patriot Day events are taking place across South Florida today where flags are flying at half-staff as we remember the victims of 9-11. Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony says it would be nice if the country could go back to the mentality it had in the aftermath 18 years ago when people were proud to be patriotic and first responders were hailed as heroes. Similar ceremonies are being held in Miami-Dade, Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah and Fort Lauderdale as South Florida pays tribute to the nearly 3-thousand people who died and the nearly 400 first responders who perished trying to save them.
