Jury Deliberating Fate Of Accused Mar-a-Lago Intruder

US-POLITICS-TRUMP

A federal jury is deliberating the case of a Chinese woman accused of lying to Secret Service agents to gain access to President Trump's Palm Beach estate.

Yujing Zhang represented herself at the short trial stemming from an incident in March at Mar-a-Lago, while the president and his family were in town.

Zhang told the judge she chose to remain silent, preserving her right not to testify at trial, but she did make a brief closing argument, telling jurors “I did nothing wrong. I do no lying.”

If convicted, she faces up to six years in prison.
