Jon Gosselin Admits Most His Kids Don't Talk To Him

Jon Gosselin was recently awarded full custody of his 14-year-old son Collin. Out of the eight children Jon shares with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin, Colin is the only one of which Jon has obtained custody. After failing to show for the custody hearing, Kate lost legal and physical custody of her son. Collin will finish up a program away from home for children with special needs at the end of the year and will move home to live with Jon. Collin will join his sister, 14-year-old Hannah, who also lives with her dad full time.

"Hannah lives with me full time, and then Collin," Jon explained. "Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, they’re with their mom, and then the twins are 18, so they’re adults. The other four aren’t talking to me, but they’re talking to Hannah. It’s what the kids want to do. If they don’t want to talk to me, that’s fine, as long as they keep up with their sibling connections."

Jon and Kate's 18-year-old twin daughters, Mady and Cara, have also spoken about their fractured relationship with their dad. "He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane," Mady told People. "He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen."

As for his relationship with Kate, Jon said the two are not "communicating" and that it's "too much right now." He also criticized his ex for not showing up for their court date, telling Us Weekly, "I would always go to court, no matter what."
